| Last night EDTC night shift... was slack till i got called down by ghee hian to help out.. picked up first trolley case, converted to resus case kanasai, and just happened to be an old jc friend's father, so need extra TLC.. really bewildering case of altered mental state but anw hope he turns out ok. ..
so while i worked hard at my job of slave/social worker/medic, while the Golden Girls of Singapore gave their all for the Motherland, my kakis did what they did best and went fishing. so this being a fishing blog, and part time
personal blog, no choice have to post their catch reports, even tho i'm not there to feel the excitement in person.
1st pic, Jit's first cast magic. Mini-Gao-Hee, caught on a super cheo K10 lure.. proving that unemployed people still can earn a living as fishermen if they can chut the capital of $30 on a lure first. congrats mr hard-core uncle.
think the lure almost more cheo than the fish. but those clear blue eyes just clinch it.

SM's first wild barracuda, 3kg on the boga, caught on Bassterra XT/Kix 2500 setup, and using REDHEAD pariah minnow twitching retrieve.. good on you bro. caught and released to terrorise small fishes another day.

| watched money no enough with the guys at west mall last night.... me and bobo's cars kena locked in the carpark cos after movie we went macs for supper till 3am plus... lol. had to ask chao bin security guard to open the gate for us. okthxbai.
3-10pm shift EDTC today...frikking moody... all the MO's that don't do EDTC shifts always admit EDTC freely cos not their problem, and today 90% of the cases blds never do swee swee... either 1)never bother to do 2)do 2 left out 1 3)do but clotted 4)do but hemolysis ++... seriously guys... ur setting up ur fellow posting MO... thx for teh memories.

| KNNZ yesterday kana recall at 1pm to go back for 3pm shift,,, what a damned burn for my Standby day.... wanted to go watch some movie with ru, but alas it was not to be. managed to suck it up, pull a fake smile to see my patients but i was seriously damn moody... gd thing got see ming come by talk cock a while with me, if not really sian.
anw, today morning, off day, morning session.....
dropped lines before sunrise.... i needed to pangsai so asked sm watch my rod, after i was done he told me my rod got a take but fish stole the bait. NEMIND, cast out again with same bait... wait wait wait.... not long after, line straighten, rod tip twitching, reel in slack and strike! fish on! fiesty but no match for the Luvias drag... his darting runs were soon put to a halt, thought it was a small kim but when it surfaced, OMG!!!! ALLIGATOR GAR!! huat! 1st one ever.. heart thumping all the way till si mian boga-ed the fish... a realllll beauty. so excited didn't even remember to weigh the fish before release..

next up, talking cock to sm and jit, suddenly rod went into full bend peeling off line to the side... reel going ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ....wah song! big fish! struck hard and i was on! a swirl of the huge tail above the water and we knew it was a redtail catfish!!!! woooo!! had to tighten drag 2 rounds to power him in before he ran to the snags... when he showed his big fat face out of the water, OMG big, jit and me both too humz to land the fish. hahaha... finally landed and released safely.. biggest red-tail catfish to date:
OK, after that, relack, cast out and sat down to rest. suddenly, line slack, eh? reel in slack, HMMMMM, i cast the bait about 8m out, but now it was just in front of me! tightened line, and STRIKE! woo! really got fish.... fiesty but again no match for the luvias (must buy smaller rod/reel liao), surfaced and wow! Temensis! landing all the weird fishes today! subdued for the photoshoot... released safe
Finally, toward the end of the session.... SM was on, fighting a kbl....i was beside him watching him fight, ready to land the fish for him. suddenly my rod beside him goes into full bend again!!! drag peeling out.... ah mian damn classic, right hand fighting his fish, left hand pick up my rod and STRIKE. hahahaha... i ran over to take over the fight.... double hookup!!! yeahhh... wow, damnnnnnn strong fish.... taking out drag like anything, had to tighten a lot to control him.... surfaced once, the back was damn fat! must be chaophraya catfish! fought really like a chao, taking out line in solid diving runs with plenty of underwater head shakes... worked up a sweat with this one. when he finally came in toward us, brought him to the surface.... OMG IT'S A KIM! a mighty big fat one!! hahahahaha! SM boga-ed it and we weighed it, 16lbs!! my record to date at the pond... a real massive sonuvabitch, but heard there are bigger ones there..
woot. hold fish until shack face.
all in all, a perfect 3hr session and a great way to start my off day... jit and sm landed 4 fish each i think mostly kims but think my rod was real lucky today... till e nxt session....
